How to Start Your Morning: 5 Ways to Find Calm and Create a Positive Day

How you start your morning can set the tone for the rest of the day. If you wake up and jump right into work, checking emails and social media, you're more likely to feel stressed out and overwhelmed. But if you take a few minutes to yourself in the morning, to find calm and focus, you'll be more productive throughout the day. In this blog post, we'll discuss 5 ways to start your morning in a positive way!

1. Silence

The first way to start your morning in a positive way is to spend the first minute in silence. This means no checking your phone, no turning on the TV, and no talking. Just sit in silence and be present. Breathe slowly and focus on finding calm.

 2. Think Positive

The second way to start your morning in a positive way is to visualize how you want the day to go. Picture yourself being successful at work, or spending time with loved ones. See yourself accomplishing your goals, and let that positivity guide your actions for the day.

 3. Be Grateful

The third way to start your morning in a positive way is to reflect on something you're grateful for. It could be anything from your health, to your family, to your job. Expressing gratitude has been shown to increase happiness and reduce stress.

4. Get Moving

The fourth way to start your morning in a positive way is to exercise. This doesn't mean you have to go for a run, but even just a few minutes of stretching or walking can help get your blood flowing and improve your mood.

5. Eat and Hydrate

The fifth and final way to start your morning in a positive way is to eat breakfast and hydrate. Skipping breakfast can make you feel tired and cranky, so be sure to fuel up with healthy foods that will give you energy for the day ahead and drink lots of water.

How do you find calm and create a positive day? I would love to hear from you so share your thoughts in the comments below! And, if you need some help getting started, just remember to take it slow! Be open to making a few small changes to your daily routine to achieve calm and happiness.

Until next time, friends!

Xoxo.
